Why I Love Beverly

Updated: Feb 23

As a realtor and Beverly resident, I have had the pleasure of helping many people find their dream home in Beverly, Massachusetts. This charming coastal community has a lot to offer, and I'd like to share some of the positives of living in Beverly.

  1. Location: Beverly is located in the North Shore of Massachusetts, just 25 miles north of Boston. This means that residents have easy access to all that Boston has to offer, while still enjoying the peace and tranquility of a small town.

  2. Natural beauty: Beverly boasts miles of beautiful coastline along the Atlantic Ocean, as well as parks and conservation areas that offer residents the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. One of these parks is the famous Lynch Park, which is a perfect spot for a relaxing day in the sun and also has a playground, picnic areas and many recreational activities.

  3. Cultural activities: Beverly has a thriving arts and culture scene, with a variety of museums, galleries, and performance venues. The city also hosts many festivals and events throughout the year, such as the Beverly Farmers Market, Beverly Arts Festival, and the Beverly Homecoming, which provide residents with plenty of opportunities to socialize and get involved in the community.

  4. History: Beverly and its surrounding towns are steeped in history, with many communities, such as Salem, being known for their rich cultural and historical heritage. Salem is also home to many historic sites and landmarks, such as the Salem Witch Trials Memorial, and the House of the Seven Gables. Beverly has long been considered the birthplace of the Navy!

  5. Exclusive lifestyle: Living in the Gold Coast offers an exclusive lifestyle, with many communities offering private beaches, marinas, and country clubs. The area also has a variety of high-end shops, restaurants, and cultural venues, providing residents with plenty of opportunities to indulge in the finer things in life.

  6. Great schools: Beverly is home to some of the best schools in Massachusetts. The city has a variety of public and private schools, including Beverly High School, the Glen Urquhart School, Shore Country Day, and several others.

  7. Growing economy: Beverly has a growing and diverse economy that offers a variety of employment opportunities. The city is home to many small businesses and entrepreneurs, as well as larger companies in the healthcare, manufacturing, and technology industries.

  8. Sense of community: Beverly is a tight-knit community with a strong sense of pride and tradition. Residents here are friendly and welcoming, and it's not uncommon to see neighbors helping each other out with yard work or lending a hand with a project.

In conclusion, Beverly is a wonderful place to live, offering its residents a great location, natural beauty, cultural activities, quality schools, and a growing economy, all while fostering a sense of community. If you're looking for a new home in Massachusetts, Beverly is definitely worth considering. As a realtor, I would be happy to help you find the perfect home here in this charming coastal community.
